Stephen Tong Evangelistic Ministries International

In recognition of his lifelong dedication to orthodox Christian faith and evangelism, he was awarded an honorary doctorate by Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia in 2008.

Dedicated to both evangelistic and cultural mandates, Rev. Tong has composed sacred hymns, conducted symphonic masterworks, and founded the Jakarta Oratorio Society. He also designed and oversaw the construction of the Reformed Millennium Center Indonesia, which features the Messiah Cathedral and Aula Simfonia Jakarta concert hall.

His sermons, lectures, and apologetics seminars continue to equip and inspire tens of millions of believers and church leaders around the globe.

Guided by the Holy Spirit, Rev. Tong began preaching at age 17. Through STEMI rallies, countless thousands have turned to Christ and committed their lives to full-time Christian service.
